As of March 17, 2020, Due to the government orders in place restricting movement of our field staff, we are currently not performing personal service of legal documents (process serving) for Santa Cruz County, San Benito County and as of March 18, 2020: Monterey County, as well. We can accept your orders and input them into our system; so when the Executive Order is lifted, the jobs can be placed with our process servers.

We understand this is for the safety and greater good of our community and will adhere to these imposed restrictions.

We are not copying records on site to limit exposure and are phoning locations requesting they ship records to us. We will only prepare subpoenas for records for these territories with distant deposition dates to accommodate timely service.

At the time of this updated posting on 3/18/20, eFilings are being processed by the clerks. You may continue to submit your eFiling requests to us. It was reported to us by the Workers Compensation Appeals Board in Salinas, California, that they will not be accepting filings for at least two weeks by order of the Presiding Judge.
